Mr. Burger in Oshawa

I can't believe I've lived five minutes from this place for 15 years and never tried it! Awesome Burger, absolutely fabulous onion rings...my new go to!

You still get the good that has a taste and fills you up to satisfaction. Been 30 plus years since I've been there last, besides closing a lot earlier ( was 2am) you can depend on their burgers.

Very disappointed in Mr. Burger. I won a Front-line Medical Staff Offer, and the store owner would not allow me to redeem my free burger. I guess they do not care about front-line workers as much as they say they do.The email states "*** This deal is valid for 48 hours from receiving this email***". I contacted them 47 hours after receiving the email and the owner stated that it is meant to be by the business day, and when they send the email (even though the text clearly states "from receiving this email". I stated that the wording did not say that, but he said "you can't please everyone". I was surprised they would not admit to their mistake, especially when it is clearly written in the email they sent.Terrible customer service, and I will not suggest Mr. Burger to friends in the future.

Great burgers and amazing onion rings .

Took my cousin here from the Netherlands... she was not disappointed. Food is awesum ...service AWESOME...love the poutine

Masks are mandatory for me as accustomed to walk in.. but the cashier who works here has his face mask half over his mouth.. touched the cooked fries. Picked one up from the pile of freshly cooked, proceeded to walk over to the mustard and grabbed that( still has not washed his hands. Then walks out of sire becuase he realizes we are watching him. Only to run his hand under water no soap. Then touches his mask pulls it down to talk to the coworkers that were less then 2 feet away.5 people in a 10 ft space behind the counter.The mustard bottle was not cleaned. This place is not clean.

Super good, friendly staff, and good portion sizes for your money

Gone there twice and both times my order was messed up.... really inconsistent. It seemed like the cashier was more worried about the speed he put in the order yet he didnt realize he is punching in all the wrong stuff. Please just take your time and get it right next time cause the food is on point!

Good homemade burgers. Staff was friendly and order was promptly prepared (5 minute wait). Found the Onion rings to be a bit more greasy than I would expect (compared to other restaurants). Cost was a bit higher than I would rate the double burger combo ($13). Overall, it was quick, tasty and filling.

I love coming to Mr. Burger for the GM burger. If you haven't tried it yet, I strongly suggest you do. If I'm not getting this, I usually get the steak on a bun as well. Highly recommend coming here for lunch. You won't be disappointed 👍👍

I went on a friday night, and it was extremely busy but the line up moved quickly and the food was put out really quickly as well. I really likes the restaurant and all the knick-knacks and memorabilia they had. Very nice experience would recommend.

Mr Burger is great, their Burgers are tasty and juicy.And you can't beat the price. If you love onion rings you have to go there they are huge and there's onions you can taste. It's not just burgers and fries everything they cook is great. They even have breakfast order. Try it.

The food was awesome. Love their burgers. Gave a 4 instead of a 5 because in this day with covid, they gave my order to someone else and then took it back again. This other guest was not wearing a mask and did not use hand sanitizer...i had to ask that they rea-bag my order...it should have been a no brainer and I shouldn't have to ask. I do love their homestyle banquet burger and their whistle dog

Mr burger is hands down the best burger place in Durham. Burgers...chicken..westerns..steaks sNdwichs..fries...rings..everything. you can even ask for onion rings pouting style. People who own and work there are fantastic! I drive 40 mins to go there

Passed this place a thousand times and decided to finally stop in. Everybody is practicing social distancing perfectly and our food is ready in 10 minutes. Obviously a very good little spot, definitely go back.Great food!

Fantastic burgers in a great unassuming setting in south Oshawa. I stopped by Mr Burger while working in the area based on a tip from a local. This place turned out to be the real deal. Friendly staff and quick service there is plenty of parking if your picking up and plenty of seating if you’re dining in. The burgers are big and the onion rings are top notch. A must try.

We have had the chicken fingers, fries, banquet burger and onion rings. They were all amazing. We've been back maybe a bit too often 😉. The staff are always friendly and seem organized.

We love Mr. Burger, always hot and fresh when we've ordered. Their fries and gravy are the best, inside of the restaurant has some pretty cool memorabilia.

The milkshakes are the best. Burgers are always hot and fresh. I would just really like it if they spruced up the interior a little bit.

Ordered food for frontline staff at my group home and we waited for 2 hours and only got offered a credit if $12.50 which was ok in a way but now we have ordered again and we have been waiting for about an hour and a half tried calling them back and they won't answer the phone. They have now lost our business as we will never order from there again

Great burgers friendly staff, and all around cozy place I would recommend that everyone try them and their delicious homemade burgers, their hot dogs are quite amazing as well.

Stopped here on advice from people over the years. Burger was phenomenal! Not many places like this anymore. No fancy frills just homemade burgers and eats for a decent price!

My fiance and I just moved to Oshawa and were really excited to do a tour for the 'Best Burger'. Unfortunately it was hard to answer because while I ordered a cheeseburger, I was given a veggie burger which was okay but nothing special. It certainly wasn't what I ordered. I did enjoy the onion rings very much however and can solidly reccomend them! My fiance said his burger was great.

Home Banquet burger rocks. The onion rings are the real deal. Staff is friendly. If its busy it takes awhile but good things are worth waiting for...

Good service very welcoming. Got the 10 oz homemade with poutine they allow you to pick your cheese on the poutine as I wanted to try mozerella. Overall it was very good. They are all both styled seating so if you are a bigger set only a few seats can accomadate you

The $5 raspberry milkshake was way too sweet. Couldn't even drink it. Threw it away. I thought it would have real raspberries in it as the picture at the cash showed. Was nothing but syrup. The onion rings are good but they need to get rid of the terrible ketchup. .

This place is down right amazing with there food. Never disappointed me once. The atmosphere however, is very unwelcoming.

Great place for the burgers! Delicious and juicy as usual, since 1976! I don't want it to close down forever, so please give your support to Oshawa's burger joint! Keep it open for a long period of time! :)

The GM burger is a unique "go-to" item. Worth trying when in the area.

Very friendly welcoming Staff and Great Food. Love the Home burger. Poutine is mouthwatering. The shakes are also fantastic. Can get really busy at times but well worth the wait. You really feel right at home. Would highly recommend to others.

I was brought here as a child, often. After groceries on a Friday night while headed home. I had to be under ten. 45 now. I was allowed fries and gravy and if well behaved and super lucky an onion ring with the onion pulled out. I eventually upgraded to my own burger and loved it then. As a kid I loved the pictures on the wall and how it was our family go to. My Dad worked at GM and eventually I did as well. So a GM burger was a given. I have moved away and onto a new job but had the opportunity to stop in yesterday. I had a burger the works and side of rings. I recognized some familiar faces and it felt like when I was a kid. The burger was as good as I remember fresh ... Flavourful and Damn good. Just go .... Have a Delish Meal and enjoy the diner decor.Congrats on being consistent and thanks for great memories.

Good food, been going here for years. It was better before the new owners took over. The staff are great especially the younger guy at the cash and the cook "Jerry" I think his name is. They're great! A little pricey now

Not as good as it used to be. 😢 My onion rings were so greasy that there was literally oil rolling around at the bottom of the container. Soda was tasteless. We took it to go, so there was not much recourse once we sat down to eat. The burger was good. Lots of fresh veggies.

All food prepared fresh on grill, all lovely homemade taste. My cheeseburger & fries, friend's burger & onion rings very tasty. Friendly staff, nostalgia decor (mostly Elvis!), clean & tidy. Next time I'm in Oshawa definitely going back! Highly recommended!

Great spot for an old school burger and fry combo. Old 50s memorabilia on the walls. I have fond memories of eating here as a child with my father, travelling east for a hunt. This place still has the same great taste and old school hospitality.

Good place! Little bit of a long wait with only a few customers, but friendly, clean, and good food at an average price.
